Thomson Reuters Corporation (TRI.TO) has made a public tender offer to acquire Pagero Group AB for about SEK 6.4 billion in cash, with an offer price of SEK 40 per share – a premium of 11.1% compared to the closing price on January 10. The offer is conditional on acceptance by over 90% of Pagero shareholders, with an acceptance period between January 12 and February 9. According to Thomson Reuters, the acquisition should provide significant benefits for customers, including enhanced compliance capabilities, workflow automation, and global scale through a single trusted vendor.
