Toyota Motor will restart its Japanese vehicle plants on Monday after a New Year’s Day earthquake. The company will decide separately about operations from Jan. 15 due to aftershocks from the magnitude 7.6 quake that affected suppliers. 80% of companies with plants in the affected areas have resumed production. Over 100 people are confirmed dead.
