The Dow rose 0.58%, the S&P 500 climbed 1.41%, and the Nasdaq gained 2.2%. Boeing shares plummeted 8% after the FAA grounded 737 Max 9 planes. American Airlines rose over 7%, and chipmaker Nvidia surged over 6%. Overseas, Asian markets mostly fell, while major European markets closed higher. Treasury yields dropped, with the benchmark ten-year note at 3.965 percent.
