The Apple Vision Pro AR headset is hitting stores and has sparked a surge in customer interest, according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives. Despite the $3,500 price point, the first of its kind headset has already garnered over 600 apps and is expected to hit 600,000 unit sales by 2024.

Ives foresees the Vision Pro as Apple’s initial entrance into AI and predicts the sub-$2,000 Vision Pro 2 with sunglasses form factors in the future. Apple’s integration of AI could be the start of a new era of growth for the company.

Despite conservative March guidance, Ives maintains an Outperform rating and a $250 price target for Apple stock. Apple closed Friday’s session down 0.54% at $185.85.
