Cisco and NVIDIA to Help Enterprises Quickly and Easily Deploy and Manage Secure AI Infrastructure

Cisco and NVIDIA have announced plans to deliver AI infrastructure solutions for the data center, including on-premises and cloud-based options, as well as AI software that supports advanced AI and generative AI workloads. This collaboration will offer Ethernet networking-based solutions through Cisco’s global channel, with key customers like ClusterPower already on board.

The purpose of the partnership is to offer enterprises simplified cloud-based and on-premises AI infrastructure, networking, and software, including infrastructure management and secure AI infrastructure. The goal is to enable businesses to build, deploy, manage, and secure AI solutions at scale. Chuck Robbins, Cisco’s CEO, and Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s CEO, both expressed excitement for the partnership’s potential.

NVIDIA’s newest Tensor Core GPUs are now available in Cisco’s M7 generation of UCS rack and blade servers, enabling optimal performance for AI and data-intensive workloads. Additionally, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, which includes software frameworks and development tools for production AI, is now available on Cisco’s global price list. The joint offerings also include validated reference architectures, cloud-based management, digital experience monitoring, and AI-driven insights for better digital experiences.

Industry experts are excited about the partnership’s potential to deliver Ethernet-based AI solutions to the market. Cisco and NVIDIA’s combined expertise and technologies are expected to enable customers to realize the full potential of AI with a range of performance-optimized infrastructure solutions.

Availability for the new solutions is set for the second quarter of the calendar year, and they will be sold through Cisco Channel partners.
