Citi warns its investment bankers to control drinking at events

Citigroup Inc. dealmakers were warned to be disciplined when consuming alcohol at client events after complaints of unruly behavior. Bankers at all levels were reminded to keep the firm’s reputation in mind when drinking. CEO Jane Fraser is working to raise standards across the Wall Street giant. The bank reported a 27% increase in investment-banking revenue in the fourth quarter, but still had a $322 million loss.
