Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has agreed to acquire the concession for part of a highway under construction in Oaxaca from billionaire Carlos Slim’s firm Ideal. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but this is part of Lopez Obrador’s focus on infrastructure projects in southern Mexico. The highway will be inaugurated on August 31.
