Nintendo has increased its sales forecast for the Switch console series, aiming to sell 15.5 million units in the current fiscal year. The December quarter saw a rise in net profit and revenue, with an 18% increase in profit. The success comes from key games like “Super Mario Bros. Movie” and Zelda.

Nintendo is surpassing expectations with strong sales figures and plans to launch new games based around characters from the Mario world. There is anticipation for a new Nintendo Switch successor to be announced this year, with analysts expecting its release.

The company raised its financial forecasts for the current fiscal year, with anticipated net sales of 1.63 trillion Japanese yen and net profit of 440 billion yen. These increases are driving additional investor confidence and market growth for Nintendo.
