NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU Brings Performance, Versatility for Next Era of AI-Accelerated Design and Visualization

From NVIDIA:

The new NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU is revolutionizing industries with its impressive AI, graphics, and compute technology, providing up to 1.5x the performance of the previous generation RTX A2000 12GB. With 16GB of memory, it supports demanding modern multi-application workflows such as AI-powered tools, multi-display setups, and high-resolution content.

Several companies, including Dassault Systèmes, Rob Wolkers Design and Engineering, and WSP, have praised the RTX 2000 Ada for its exceptional performance and versatility. Architects, product designers, engineers, and content creators are using this GPU to accelerate visualization workflows, improve design precision, and create high-quality videos and images, among other applications.

The NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada features third-generation RT Cores, fourth-generation Tensor Cores, and CUDA cores, resulting in significant performance improvements for graphics, rendering, AI, and compute workloads. With 16GB of GPU memory, DLSS 3, and an AV1 encoder, this GPU delivers breakthrough features in AI-powered graphics and video encoding, enabling an immersive user experience and higher-quality content creation.

The RTX Enterprise Driver has been updated to support the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada, offering new features such as Video TrueHDR and Video Super Resolution, along with enhancements to the Video NGX software development kit. These new features optimize and accelerate inference performance for language models, improve video quality, and enable offloading of work from the CPU to the GPU for faster task completion.

The NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada is now available globally through distribution partners and will be available from Dell Technologies, HP, and Lenovo starting in April. This groundbreaking GPU can be seen in action at Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE World, where live demos of SOLIDWORKS applications powered by the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada will be showcased. Demonstrations of the workflow used to design NEMO, a supercar of submarines, will also be featured at the event.
