Pandora Q4 Net Profit Rises, Organic Growth At 12%; Announces Share Buy-back

Pandora reported a fourth quarter net profit of 2.53 billion Danish kroner, up from 2.36 billion Danish kroner a year ago. Earnings per share also increased to 29.4 kroner from 25.2 kroner. Fourth quarter revenue was 10.82 billion Danish kroner, up from 9.86 billion Danish kroner last year. The company delivered organic growth of 12%, including LFL growth of 9% and network expansion of 4%.

Pandora’s initial guidance for 2024 is 6-9% organic growth and an EBIT margin around 25%. The company also proposed a total shareholder distribution of 5.5 billion Danish kroner, including a dividend increase to 18 Danish kroner per share and a new 4.0 billion Danish kroner share buyback program. This program will start on 8 February 2024 and complete no later than 31 January 2025, with the purpose of reducing the share capital and meeting obligations from incentive programs.
