Robinhood CFO Jason Warnick addressed the growing role of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on their platform. During an earnings call, he emphasized the success of offering all 11 Bitcoin ETFs and that this hasn’t detracted from traditional crypto trading. Bitcoin ETFs account for 5% of overall crypto trading on Robinhood, with the rest being spot trading. This surge in trading activity is reflected in Robinhood’s 10% year-over-year increase in crypto revenue during the fourth quarter, reaching $43 million. CEO Vlad Tenev expressed satisfaction with the year’s performance, noting a focus on improving the trader experience and providing clarity. “We’re off to an even better start in 2024” he added. As trading closed, HOOD stood at $11.84 per share, marking a 1.42% decline over the past 24 hours.
