Despite the findings, Hur concluded that no criminal charges against Biden were warranted, a decision that was criticized by the White House counsel. Interestingly, former President Trump, Biden’s potential 2024 opponent, was indicted in 2023 on federal charges related to the mishandling of classified documents at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida.
