Tesla Announces Another Artificial Intelligence (AI) Supercomputer. Here Are the Real Winners.

From Nasdaq:

Tesla is branching out to AI with its Dojo computer, a powerful supercomputer at its Gigafactory in New York, which involves a heavy investment. One key partner in this endeavor is Nvidia, which supplies the GPUs for the Dojo computer and is looking at a potential revenue boost. Taiwan Semiconductor, a supplier of Nvidia and Tesla, is poised for growth due to this expansion. This trend sets the stage for these companies to reap the benefits for years to come.

For Nvidia, the sale of GPUs for Tesla’s AI requires the handling of intense data processing. This is tied to Nvidia’s 3% revenue in the third quarter of fiscal 2024. Although a small fraction, this foretells a growing need for AI supercomputers, aligning with consumer demand and growth needs.

Taiwan Semiconductor is poised for strong revenue growth, as their semiconductors grow to comprise more of their revenue in the next few years due to the growing need for AI chips.

There are plans for additional Dojo computers, and future demand will benefit Nvidia and TSMC. Nvidia and TSMC will see business boosts from this buildout, providing both companies with a good opportunity for growth. AI integration continues to be a dominant force, making it an area of strategic investment for companies supporting the buildout.
