We’ve looked into the portfolios of major European equity funds to track the most bought and sold stocks by fund managers in December 2023. Calculating the amount in euros bought or sold, we analyzed 15 portfolios to find the popular stocks and the strategies adopted by fund managers.

The analysis was based on 15 funds with the largest assets under management, revealing insights from complete portfolios as of 31 December 2023. With combined net assets of over 34 billion euros, we selected one fund per management company to avoid duplication. The data in the table are purely for informational purposes and do not represent a recommendation to buy or sell.

The article retells on analyzing the portfolios of biggest European large-cap equity funds, identifying which stocks were most bought and sold in December 2023. The methodology used to gather this data was also discussed in the article.
