Despite Trump’s boastful claims, Swift’s wealth happened long before Trump was in office, with Forbes recording her 2016 earnings at an impressive $170 million. The Music Modernization Act, signed into law under the Trump administration in 2017, was also mentioned. On Sunday, Sen. Marco Rubio and former candidate Chris Christie dismissed conspiracy theories about Swift endorsing the 49ers to further liberal politics, calling her an American success story.
