On Friday, U.S. shares closed with mixed results, as gains in certain sectors pushed stocks higher while losses in others brought shares down. The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.16% to reach a new all-time high, the S&P 500 rose by 0.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped by 0.28%. Some top gainers included Amgen Inc, Johnson & Johnson, and IBM, while Apple Inc, The Travelers Companies Inc, and Chevron were among the biggest losers. Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones, and in commodities trading, Gold Futures went up while Crude oil fell. The US Dollar Index Futures remained unchanged.
