Ukrainian military intelligence reported that Russian forces are increasingly using Starlink terminals on the frontline, a signal of Elon Musk’s internet service infiltrating the area. Intercepted conversations indicate Russian troops used Starlink devices installed for internet access. The Space X service has never been marketed or sold in Russia by the company. On the other hand, Ukraine has become increasingly dependent on the Starlink system, with Musk admitting to having prevented its use in a Ukrainian attack on a Russian naval base in Crimea. Despite Ukraine’s plea, Musk said the US didn’t directed him to extend Starlink to Crimea.
