US Futures Flat, European Stocks Mostly Rise

U.S. futures for the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average remained flat, with no clear indication of market movements. In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 gained 0.1%, with mixed performances from individual stocks. The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index fell by 0.1%. In commodities, Brent crude rose to $81.87 a barrel, while WTI crude climbed to $77.82 a barrel. Bond yields in Germany and the U.S. declined slightly. Asian stocks had a mixed day, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 flat, Hang Seng up 0.9%, and Shanghai Composite climbing 1.3%.
