Virtus Investment Partners, Inc. (VRTS) reported a fourth quarter net income of $30.8 million, down from last year’s $35.4 million. Earnings per share dropped to $4.21 from $4.77. However, adjusted earnings per share increased to $6.11 from $5.17, beating analyst estimates of $5.96. Fourth quarter revenues were $214.6 million, up 8% from the previous year, exceeding the estimated $197.13 million. Revenues, as adjusted, were $193.4 million, a 10% increase from the previous year.
