Voyager’s Starlab space station buys SpaceX Starship launch

From CNBC:

Voyager Space and Airbus are partnering to launch the private station Starlab into low Earth orbit using a Starship rocket from SpaceX. The station is funded by partners including Northrop Grumman and Hilton, and represents one of the first commercial customers to order a Starship launch. The companies did not disclose the launch contract’s value. The space station’s design is focused on microgravity research in space and is built to support a crew of four people for as long as 30 years in orbit. Voyager and Airbus are aiming for a launch as early as 2028, giving SpaceX time to advance from demonstration flights to launching customer spacecraft. The design also limits the number of rockets that could support launching the space station in one mission.
