Where Will Boeing Be in 3 Years?

Boeing’s medium-term outlook is critical for investors, and the target involves a multi-year increase in airplane production leading to $12 billion in segment operating cash flow. Unfortunately, Boeing’s progress toward its target isn’t progressing as smoothly as hoped. BDS continues to report losses, and management decided to postpone its 2024 guidance. While pushing the timeline for the $10 billion target further out doesn’t seem to matter much, it actually makes a big difference to the investment proposition. Overall, Boeing will likely be in a better place in a few years than it is now, seeing a few quarters of solid execution is needed to dispel the doubters.
