Stellantis is laying off 400 U.S. salaried employees in engineering, tech, and software units to cut costs in challenging market conditions. The cuts, affecting 2% of employees in those units, are part of CEO Carlos Tavares’ cost-cutting measures since the Fiat Chrysler and PSA Groupe merger. The goal is to achieve the “Dare Forward 2030” plan.
