In early trading, Microsoft leads the Dow Jones Industrial Average, up 2.4% and registering a 13.0% year-to-date gain. Conversely, Verizon Communications trails as the worst performer, down 1.4% today with a 5.3% gain for the year.
Walt Disney is down 1.3% while Salesforce is up 1.2% on the day, contributing to the Dow’s movements.
