GM, Magna, Wipro Join To Develop SDVerse Sales Platform For Automotive Software

General Motors, Magna International, and Wipro Limited have partnered to create SDVerse, a B2B sales platform for automotive software. This platform will connect buyers and sellers of embedded automotive software, revolutionizing the sourcing and procurement process in the industry. SDVerse aims to increase transparency, reduce inefficiencies, and offer benefits such as reduced cost and time. Prashant Gulati has been named CEO of SDVerse, which is currently in development and expected to feature hundreds of software products. The platform is designed by the three companies and will be governed collaboratively by them. Participants from all levels of the automotive value chain are welcome to join. VP Dan Nicholson from General Motors highlighted the significance of this initiative in driving innovation and cost reduction in the industry.
