The bond market will close for all 10 stock market holidays in 2026 and 2027, as well as on Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Veterans Day. It will also close early on certain days before or after holidays, like Maundy Thursday and Black Friday.

The stock market operates as usual for holidays like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Halloween, unless they fall on a weekend. Crypto markets remain open 24/7/365, unlike traditional markets, due to their decentralized nature.

Veterans Day is not a stock market holiday, with both the NYSE and Nasdaq open for regular hours. However, the bond market does close in observance of Veterans Day.
