Microsoft’s Mikhail Parakhin, head of Bing and advertising, is stepping down to look for a new position following Mustafa Suleyman’s appointment to lead consumer AI. Parakhin will shift responsibilities to Chief Technology Officer Kevin Scott, while Pavan Davuluri takes over parts of the Windows business. It’s unclear if Parakhin will remain at Microsoft or leave. CEO Satya Nadella’s recent push for AI innovation prompted the changes, reflecting impatience with the company’s progress. Despite integrating AI into various products, such as Bing and Windows, Microsoft still lags behind Google in the search market.
