Nvidia faces lawsuit from three authors who claim their copyrighted books were used without permission to train NeMo AI platform. Authors seek damages for copyright infringement and lawsuit could expand into a class action. Nvidia did not comment on the matter, as lawsuit drags it into a growing legal battle over generative AI. Nvidia’s stock price has risen almost 600% since end of 2022 and is now valued at nearly $2.2 trillion. Lawsuit is ongoing in U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
