OpenAI's CTO evades questions on training data sources for AI model Sora.
From Crypto Times:
OpenAI’s CTO, Mira Murati, remained vague about the sources used to train their AI model Sora in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal. Murati could not confirm if publicly available data from social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook was utilized, stating the data used was either publicly available or licensed, including data from Shutterstock. Concerns around AI training data transparency have led to legal actions against OpenAI for alleged copyright infringement and unauthorized use of private user data, including a lawsuit filed in July 2023 regarding ChatGPT generating summaries from copyrighted works.
