AI systems in software have exceeded moving robots in sophistication in recent years. While robots excel at tasks like building cars and cleaning, chatbots have a more general skill set. Physical Intelligence, a new startup, aims to bridge this gap by developing software to add intelligence to a wide range of robots and machines. Co-founder Karol Hausman states the goal is to bring AI to the physical world with a universal model.
