Stock market holidays in March 2024: BSE, NSE to remain closed on Holi, Good Friday

Next week, the Indian stock market will experience two trading holidays for Holi and Good Friday, resulting in a truncated week with just three sessions from Tuesday to Thursday. Trading activities will be suspended on Monday and Friday. The commodity market on MCX and NCDEX will also be affected, with no trading on Monday morning but resuming in the evening and remaining closed on Good Friday. In April, there will be two stock market holidays in India on the 11th and 17th for Eid-Ul-Fitr and Ram Navami respectively. Last week, Nifty 50 and broader markets saw gains after global cues.
