Twitter/X’s AI chatbot Grok is now open source after Elon Musk announced the plan. The source code for Grok-1 is available on GitHub, but it has not been fine-tuned for specific tasks yet. Musk previously sued competitor OpenAI, claiming breach of contract regarding openness and non-profit status. OpenAI refuted the claims with published emails showing mutual agreements with Musk.
