United Airlines adds Morocco, Colombia, China flights

United Airlines is expanding its international service by offering flights to Marrakesh, Morocco, and Medellin, Colombia, along with increasing its service to Asia, catering to premium leisure travel. Revenue from international trips has outpaced domestic sales, with United experiencing an 18% growth in international revenue in the last four months of 2023.

In addition to the new routes, United is also adding four weekly flights between Shanghai and Los Angeles, a second daily flight between Los Angeles and Hong Kong, and additional daily flights between San Francisco and Seoul, South Korea, and Newark and Porto, Portugal. The airline is focused on meeting the growing demand for premium travel experiences.
