American Airlines cuts some international flights citing Boeing delays

From CNBC: 2024-04-26 14:59:33

American Airlines is cutting long-haul flights due to Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner delivery delays. Only 3 Dreamliners expected this year instead of 6. Flights from JFK to Athens and Barcelona suspended. Routes from Dallas/Fort Worth to Dublin and Rome also suspended. Adjustments made to accommodate affected customers.

American will offer fewer flights between New York and Rome and will suspend service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Kona, Hawaii this winter. Despite Boeing delays, American plans to continue 55 long-haul international routes and add new services, including nonstop flights between Philadelphia and Barcelona. Boeing has not commented on the situation.
