Boeing airplane deliveries hit a low in Q1, with only 83 planes handed over, most being 737s. In contrast, Airbus delivered 142 planes, 63 in March. Boeing received orders for 111 new planes, including 85 737 Max jets for American Airlines. Recent quality control issues have caused delays and led to management changes at Boeing.
