G2 Goldfields Inc. announces an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the OKO project in Guyana, with total gold increasing by 69% to 2.0 million ounces. The updated estimate includes a high-grade resource for the Oko Main Zone and a bulk mineable resource for the Ghanie Zone. An updated resource at the Oko Main Zone has confirmed additional Indicated resources. The Company plans to continue exploration to expand resources and make new discoveries along the 20-kilometer-long Oko-Aremu trend.

The Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at Ghanie signifies a major step towards realizing the district-scale nature of the OKO gold system. The Ghanie Zone offers a significant bulk mineable and open-pittable deposit that complements the high-grade underground deposit at the Oko Main Zone. The Company has made a recent high-grade discovery at Ghanie North, with potential for further zones along the strike.

The Company’s geological model is evolving, leading to regular discoveries along the Oko-Aremu trend. The recent NW OKO discovery showcases the potential for additional near-surface mineralization. The Company plans to introduce an additional drill rig at NW OKO and commence drilling at Tracy and Aremu in April 2024. The updated Mineral Resource Estimate provides a solid foundation for ongoing exploration and resource expansion efforts at the OMZ and Ghanie zones. CEO Dan Noone anticipates a further resource estimate update in Q4 2024.
