IndiGo shares hit all-time high after placing order for 30 wide-body aircraft from Airbus

Shares of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., the parent company of IndiGo, surged 4% to a record high of ₹3,958.80 after the airline placed its first order for wide-body aircraft to compete in international travel. The deal with Airbus, worth over $9 billion, includes 30 A350-900 jets with delivery starting in 2027.
IndiGo also has purchase rights for 70 more A350 family planes and plans to double its capacity by 2030. The move is expected to strengthen its position in the global aviation market. CEO Pieter Elbers expressed confidence in the partnership with Airbus for growth in India and beyond. Stocks were up 3.41% at ₹3,942.45.
