It’s Still Early Days For Active ETFs

Active ETFs are gaining momentum in Europe due to their low tracking error, benchmark awareness, and low cost. Despite this, they only make up 2% of all ETF assets on the continent. Competition, technology enhancements, and client demand are driving the decrease in fees for active ETFs. Fidelity, PIMCO, and JPMorgan are the top firms, but others like iShares, ARK Invest, and Robeco are entering the market. These active ETFs are still in the nascent stage, with potential for growth and new product launches.
