Decentralized computing specialist io.net partners with AI platform KREA, expanding KREA’s client base to companies like Nike and Apple. io.net aims to create a network of one million GPUs for AI/ML tasks, benefiting startups and GPU owners like crypto miners. KREA utilizes over 2,500 machine learning models to generate AI-powered multimedia content.
To address the global GPU shortage, io.net will provide KREA with NVIDIA A100-80GB GPUs for AI operations. This partnership will enhance KREA’s ability to process multimedia content efficiently, meeting growing network demands. KREA will access NVIDIA A100-80GB clusters at a cost of $0.89 per hour, significantly lower than the market average of $3 per hour, reducing operational costs and staying competitive in the market.
With a network of 300,000 GPU suppliers across 139 countries, io.net forms the world’s largest Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) for AI. The partnership with KREA highlights io.net’s ability to deliver GPU compute resources at competitive rates, promoting the use of idle computing power and optimizing revenue for GPU owners like crypto miners.
