Learn more about his strategy here. OpenAI now offers its “Memory” feature to ChatGPT Plus users, allowing the AI chatbot to remember previous conversations and user-supplied insights. This feature enables ChatGPT to generate more personalized responses by retaining user information and insights. The Memory feature is easy to use and can be turned on or off in settings. It is not currently available in Europe or Korea, but will be expanded to other user types in the future. If you’re a ChatGPT Plus subscriber, you can activate the Memory feature by simply starting a new chat and telling ChatGPT what you’d like it to remember. When users provide personal details or information, ChatGPT uses this to create more tailored responses. The AI tool notifies users when it uses their inputs to update memories and allows them to manage their Memory history by viewing and editing memories. To activate this feature, go to your profile, select Settings, then Personalization, and toggle the Memory option. You can also manage your saved memories by choosing the “Manage” option. OpenAI has made improvements to the Memory feature after testing it earlier this year. Users can now manage their memories and delete them if desired.
