Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins launch streaming service for local games

SportsNet Pittsburgh is launching a direct-to-consumer streaming service, SNP 360, for $17.99/month, allowing fans to watch Pirates and Penguins games outside of the pay-TV bundle. The move comes as regional sports networks adapt to the shift to streaming. NESN was the first to offer a similar service for Red Sox and Bruins games. Diamond Sports, another major player, filed for bankruptcy in 2023.
