Samsung Electronics reported a more than 10-fold rise in first-quarter operating profit, driven by strong demand for artificial intelligence. Memory chip sales nearly doubled, with operating profit reaching 6.6 trillion won. The chip division swung to profit of 1.91 trillion won from a loss a year earlier. Revenue rose 13% to 71.9 trillion won.
