Saudi Arabia stocks saw losses in the , and sectors, with the declining by 0.30% at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication and ACWA Power were top gainers, while Sahara International Petrochemical Company and Arab National Bank were among the worst performers. Crude oil prices rose, with May delivery up to $85.45 a barrel.
Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) hit 5-year highs, rising 9.98%, while International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) reached all-time highs, gaining 6.65%. Crude oil for May delivery increased to $85.45 a barrel, while Brent oil for June delivery rose to $90.15.
The EUR/SAR exchange rate fell by 0.83% to 3.99, while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 3.75. The US Dollar Index Futures increased by 0.72% to 105.82. In commodities trading, the June Gold Futures contract fell by 0.53% to $2,360.20 a troy ounce.
