A 25-year-old Bank of America credit trader, Adnan Deumic, died suddenly from a suspected cardiac arrest while playing soccer at an industry event. He collapsed and did not respond to medical treatments, including CPR. Deumic joined the bank in 2022 after completing the summer analyst program the previous year. His death follows another recent tragedy at the firm, involving associate Leo Lukenas in the investment banking group in New York. Lukenas, a former Green Beret, passed away earlier this month. The circumstances of his death are unclear. An outpouring of support has been seen across Wall Street for both individuals.
