ABN AMRO has announced the acquisition of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe, strengthening its top-three position in wealth management in Germany. The purchase will make Bethmann Bank one of the largest banking service providers for wealthy private clients, family businesses, and institutional clients in Germany. HAL’s subsidiaries offering AIFM/Manco and Fund Administration services will not be part of the acquisition. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
