Angus Gold Inc. has discovered a potential new gold system along the Eagle River Splay deformation zone, with drill holes showing promising results of 2.0 g/t Au over 5.4 metres and 48.7 g/t Au over 1.5 metres. The ongoing 2024 drilling program aims to further explore the area and other follow-up targets.

The recent assay results from nine drill holes completed during the winter 2024 program on the Eagle River Splay Area at the Golden Sky Project in Wawa, Ontario, have shown the presence of significant gold mineralization. Chief Executive Officer, Breanne Beh, expresses excitement over the new gold discovery and plans to continue exploration activities in the promising area.

The winter drill program focused on testing geophysical anomalies in the Eagle River Splay area, resulting in the discovery of gold mineralization in drillhole GS-24-135. The program is the first exploration of regional targets on the Golden Sky property, demonstrating the potential for extensive gold systems in the area. Further drilling is planned to validate the true width of the mineralized systems.

Angus Gold’s Golden Sky Project, located near the Eagle River and Mishi gold mines in Ontario, showcases potential for new gold discoveries. The project hosts the Dorset Gold Zone with a historic resource estimate and the newly discovered BIF Gold Zone. The ongoing exploration efforts aim to uncover additional gold systems and advance the project’s potential in the region.
