Box beats Q1 revenue estimates, misses Q2 guidance expectations

Box (NYSE:BOX) reported Q1 CY2024 revenue of $264.7 million, beating estimates by 1%, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.39, surpassing estimates by 8.2%. However, next quarter’s revenue guidance of $269 million fell slightly below analyst expectations. Box attributes its lowered full year revenue guidance to foreign exchange, but constant-currency growth projection increased to 7% year on year. Free cash flow for Q1 was $123.2 million, up 50.6% from the previous quarter. Despite a mixed quarter, Box’s stock price remains stable at $24.83.
