Chinese stocks closed Tuesday’s session with a slight decrease as the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.07% to 3,145.77 points. The Shenzhen Component Index also dropped by 0.05% to 9,668.73 points, with a total turnover of 824.56 billion yuan. Home appliances and coal mining stocks declined, while furniture and entertainment sectors saw gains.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China’s growth enterprises, decreased by 0.26% to 1,855.6 points, reflecting challenges faced by growth and tech-oriented companies. The market showed mixed performance, indicating the dynamic nature of China’s stock market influenced by economic factors and sector-specific challenges.
