Collective Metals Provides Review of Trojan-Condor Target
From GlobeNewswire: 2024-05-02 08:00:00
Results from Collective Metals Inc.’s 2023 soil sampling program in British Columbia support the Trojan-Condor Corridor as a high priority, drill-ready exploration target. The property hosts several promising alkalic Cu-Au porphyry targets, with significant chargeability anomalies identified. The integration of geochemical results and reprocessed geophysical data has identified and prioritized exploration targets, with the Trojan-Condor Corridor being a top priority.
Soil samples were collected as part of a two-phase program, with results showing predominantly background copper levels. Elevated values were localized near the Whipsaw Fault and Whipsaw Stocks, with anomalous values associated with Late Triassic Nicola Group sediments. There are also high copper values near the Whipsaw Stock and in the interpreted halo around it. Anomalous copper values indicate potential for discovery, especially in the southernmost soil lines within the Whipsaw Stock.
Leveled calcium results show a strong association of elevated to anomalous values with the PA1 and PA2 anomalies. Anomalous values are present on either side of the Whipsaw Fault, indicating geochemical leakage from below and within the damage zone. The PA2 anomaly shows a higher proportion of elevated results, especially at the contact between the Whipsaw Stock and host Nicola Group volcanic rocks. The results suggest the presence of another subsurface Whipsaw Stock underlying the anomaly.
