Consumer stocks were showing positive movement premarket, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) up by 0.3% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) rising by 0.6%.

Buckle (BKE) saw a decrease of over 1% following lower fiscal Q1 earnings and net sales report.

VF (VFC) is selling off two jets and a 52,800-square-foot airplane hangar in Colorado to cut costs amidst declining sales. The company’s stock was up over 1% before the market opened.

Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) experienced a 0.5% drop after pricing a private offering of $4.5 billion convertible senior notes due 2031.
