Frank Anderson Shrontz, former Boeing CEO and Seattle Mariners co-owner, passed away at 92. He led Boeing from 1986 to 1996, doubling revenues to $35 billion. Shrontz advocated for the 737 over the 757 and 767 during the 1970s energy crisis, later becoming one of Boeing’s best-selling planes. The Mariners praised his community work and leadership in Seattle.
